The Adinkrah Heritage Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit and independent organisation registered under the Ghana Companies Act.
1952, committed to the promotion of the legacy and heritage of Nana Kwadwo Agyeman Adinkra, King of Gyaaman
(1810 – 1820), the originator of Adinkra symbols.

Our vision is to foster a creative society, one that draws inspiration from its past heritage to build the future.

Our mission is to contribute to the making of a creative society by mobilising the legacy of King Adinkra, his philosophical works and inspiration.
Core Value
Our core work is to establish and manage The Adinkra Heritage Museum which will contain an archive of his works, literature and symbols. It will become the Memorial Center of Nana

KWAME ADINKRAH
The founder and President of Adinkra Heritage Foundation
Kwame Adinkrah is a direct descendant of the Yaakese and Zanzan Dynasties of the Gyaaman Kingdom but resides in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. He started primary school at Kwameseikrom in the Jaman South Municipality but quickly transferred to the Central International School in Kumasi at age 6.
He attended Opoku Ware School in Kumasi and continued at Dormaa Secondary School in Dormaa Ahenkro for his Advance Certificate. He returned to Kumasi to pursue both his undergraduate and post graduate certificates at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology.
He is a PhD candidate in Visual Communication Design at KNUST. He is a Broadcaster, Graphic Designer, Visual Communication Designer, Singer, National MC and Entrepreneur.
